ISDT 608PD Smart Charger

The ISDT 608PD combines the performance of a modern RC battery charger with the flexibility of USB-C Power Delivery. Power can be supplied either via the conventional DC input with an XT60 connector or using a compatible USB-C PD power adapter. This makes the compact charger equally suitable for use in the workshop or at the flying field.

When powered through the DC input, the 608PD delivers a maximum charging power of up to 240 W at 10 A. When using USB-C PD 3.1, up to 140 W or 5 A is available. The charger supports LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries with up to six cells, as well as NiMH and lead-acid batteries.

The USB-C port operates bidirectionally: it can be used not only to power the charger but also to provide an output of up to 100 W. This allows a connected RC battery to be used as a powerful energy source for compatible USB-C devices, for example.

In addition to charging, the ISDT 608PD supports battery checking and maintenance functions. The individual cell voltages and balancing status can be monitored via the balance connector. A balancing current of up to 0.8 A per cell ensures effective voltage equalisation within the battery pack.

The bright IPS colour display presents all essential charging information clearly. Reliable cooling is provided by a temperature-controlled fan system with lateral airflow. Settings can be managed and OTA firmware updates performed using the ISD-Link app.
