DJI Avata FPV Drone - agile, fast FPV Drones as an alternative to DJI Avata

Is the DJI Avata too slow for you? This guide helps you get started with fast racing and freestyle drones.
The DJI Avata offers a good introduction to the world of FPV drones. It allows for spectacular footage and, thanks to DJI's digital video transmission, provides a detailed image and an immersive flying experience.
Those who particularly enjoy FPV flying and prefer to fly only in manual mode will soon long for more agility and speed. The desire for faster flight maneuvers and elaborate freestyle flights raises the question of how to take your skills to the next level.
Fast and agile - FPV racing and freestyle drones for spectacular flight maneuvers
Long before the DJI Avata existed, FPV racing and freestyle pilots built drones that could fly at speeds of over 150km/h, depending on the setup. Nowadays, well-known manufacturers of FPV freestyle and racing drones offer ready-built copters equipped with the DJI O4 Air Unit. This allows the drone to be controlled with the DJI FPV Remote Controller and the video image to be received with the DJI Goggles 3 and DJI FPV Goggles N3.
Genuine FPV drones from iFlight or GepRC come in various sizes and shapes. They are very mature and offer excellent flight characteristics thanks to pre-set tuning. Here we present some recommendations with which the desire for agile and elaborate freestyle flights can be fulfilled and with which you can live out your talent for flying.
1.6" - 3.5" Tinywhoops and Cinewhoops - compact and agile
Small, light, and nimble. Due to their compactness, they offer less stability in stronger winds but can be flown in tighter environments. Many models come with propeller guards, which provide added safety. For comparison: the DJI Avata has a size of approximately 3".
5" Freestyle Copter - the Classics
The traditional platform for agile freestyle flights. 5" drones offer more stability in stronger winds and higher speeds, but are a bit more challenging for beginners to fly.
6" Drones for Longer Range
Compared to 5" drones, 6" drones have larger propellers and are more efficient in energy consumption. Due to the higher payload capacity, batteries with more capacity can be used, allowing for longer flight times and range. 6" copters are less agile in turns and are therefore more suitable for cruising.
