Damped light ESC's can be extremely noisy ranging from 5V-29V noise when being tortured. This is probably why they are known to kill video equipment.
With 1000uF low ESR capacitor you can filter the main voltage line without spending money on a LC-Filter.
You can also pair a step-down SBEC with a 1000uF low ESR capacitor to completely remove noise generated by the motors, while stepping down the power to whatever you need for your video equipment.
